Welcome to Nourished Fitness! A place where I can share my adventures in life – mainly training and eating – two of my most favourite things to do! I will also be sharing nutritional information, cooking videos, recipes, reviews, along with training tips, programs and my own varied training regimen. As I’m typing this, I am currently sitting in an absolutely stunning villa in Bali, Indonesia – it’s 30 degrees, the sun has been shining all day, we’ve scootered around beautiful Canggu to have an amazing breakfast and lunch, lazed around our own private pool and filled up on sunshine – tough gig right? It’s been an incredible week and I have loved every second of my time here.
But I realise that the only way that Emanuel and I are able to have this time off, is because we are backed my an amazing team of friends and family back home, looking after the girls and running the studio. Our team that has grown organically – we consider our members our friends, and some have grown to become family and without their generous offer of help and support, we wouldn’t have been able to take the time off. Thank you team! We really are blessed and it has made me realise that yes, we are all in this together.
I can admit that I am somewhat of a control freak – but it is part of who I am, and has gotten me through some tough times to where we are today, however now I realise that delegating certain responsibilities and tasks can be and is good for, my sanity, health and happiness. We can’t do everything on our own all of the time, and it is okay to ask for and receive help.
So as you come along with me on my adventures, I hope to show you motivation, inspiration, support, encouragement, help and guidance. I always try to do as much as I can to help anyone who reaches out to me for it, and in fact helping and supporting people is what I do on the daily – in the gym and in my community.
